Welcome to the Serena Psalm Website... co-author of the Saga of the Son series, as well as the upcoming Ironhand series for children.
Serena was born in Longview, Texas on April 19, 1991. She lived in the tiny town of Arp throughout her formative years until the height of her pubescent angst (15) when she moved to Mesa, Arizona. She has attempted to reform herself into someone who doesn’t know the difference between a bridle and a halter. To date, the attempt has failed.
Serena started writing when she was in fourth grade, as an assignment given by her teacher: her mother. The story was entitled, “Rollerwoman and Lasergirl.” For obvious reasons, it is not included on this website (Serena is convinced that, if anyone were to actually read it, she would immediately burst into flames).
Her next writing endeavor was a mystery, entitled “___,” written at the age of 13, and has (she is proud to say) never been seen by mortal eyes. She started writing poetry during her dark days at Arp Junior High, and though her days are no longer dark, she continues writing poetry for fun.
She embarked on writing her first novel-length story, entitled “Silver,” as a Freshman in High School. Today, that story is found somewhere on the back burner of her mind, just simmering for now.
She started writing The Saga of the Son: The Coming of the One in June of 2009, at the age of 18. A great tragedy in her life, a four month break, and a birthday later, she finally finished it.
She graduated in the top sixth of her class at Dobson High. She would like to return one day as a guestspeaker in the creative writing class.
She currently lives with her overprotective father and attends Mesa Community College, where she diligently works toward a degree in Theater Performance.
